An EV charge enclosure (also called an EVSE enclosure or charging station enclosure) is a protective housing designed to safely contain the electrical components of an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station. Its primary functions are:
1. Safety: Protects users from electrical shock and prevents accidental contact with live components.
